ISLAMABAD: After resuming production for two days, Chashma Power Plant-2 has tripped again today and due to its closure power production has also reduced by 300 megawatts, SAMAA reported on Tuesday.

Earlier 10- days ago, some technical misfit occured in Chashma Power Plant-1 and 2 both; due to fault Chashma Power Plant-1 stopped power production completely while plant-2 started functioning partially.

Before being fully operational, Chashma power Plant-2 was producing 105 megawatts of power while its total power production capacity is 300 megawatts. SAMAA
