Psh: 3 escaped terrorists killed, 2 FC men dead

PESHAWAR: Security forces and police conducted a joint operation against terrorists in the city’s sensitive area of Cantt, where three terrorists were killed, SAMAA reports Tuesday.

Meantime, two security men were martyred in the operation.

According to security sources, a report was received regarding the presence of terrorists in Cantonment area near Mall Road in the city. On this, police and other forces conducted joint search operation in the area.

Tear gas was employed during the operation amid sustained exchange of fire among the security personnel and saboteurs.

According to preliminary reports, three terrorists are said to be killed in the operation, during which Saddar Road and Mall Road were kept closed overnight.

It should be mentioned here that the killed terrorists escaped from the custody of security forces. SAMAA
