KARACHI: The citizens once again passed their sehri timing through darkness, as Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) managed to restore the power supply to 15 grid stations but in four hours, SAMAA reports Monday.
The city’s different areas remained plunged in darkness with the same old lame excuses from the KESC.
The areas of metropolis, which suffered unexpected power outage include Old City Area, Lyari, Kemari, Saeedabad, Baldia Town, Bihar Colony, Malir, Model Colony, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Mehmoodabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Dalmia, Surjani Town, Landhi, Manghopir, Gadap, Sohrab Goth, Qaidabad, Garden, Nishtar Road, Orangi Town, Kashmir Colony, Defence, Clifton, Machhar Colony, Pahalwan Goth, Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, Gulbahar, North Karachi and PECHS.
According to the KESC spokesman, Bin Qasim’s 200 kv transmission line tripped which caused to suspend power supply to 15 grid stations.
It should be mentioned here that most of the city areas stayed without power supply during the yesterday’s sehri as well. SAMAA
