Early morning showers in Islamabad, Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD: Early morning showers washed the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, turning the weather pleasant and enjoyable here, SAMAA reports Saturday.

According to Meteorological Department, more intermittent downpours are expected during next two days.

The federal capital received rains early this morning along with gale-force winds, which discontinued the heat-wave spell. The showers turned the breeze cold in the city.

The same pleasurable weather took on Rawalpindi after the rainfall.

According to Meteorological Department, Islamabad received 47 millimeters and Rawalpindi 33mm and the present wet spell will continue for two more days. SAMAA
