Fake spiritual leader’s followers torture SAMAA team in Muridke

MURIDKE: A local fake spiritual leader’s followers tortured SAMAA team on G.T. Road in Muridke today, SAMAA reported on Friday.

According to initial details, while SAMAA team was trying to cover protest rally of the fake spiritual leader’s followers on G.T.Road in Muridke this evening, they suddenly attacked SAMAA team members and tortured them severely.

Owing to severe torture of spiritual leader’s followers, a cameraman injured critically. He was rushed to hospital immediately for medical assistance.

President of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, Parvez Shoukat, has condemned the torture on media team and demanded the Punjab Chief Minister to take stern action against the culprits.

Waqar Satti, President of Rawalpindi Union of Journalists, and Farooq Satti, President of National Press Club, have also condemned the torture on SAMAA team. SAMAA
