DERA GHAZI KHAN: A shopkeeper was nabbed while trying to rape a minor girl inside his shop in Dera Ghazi Khan on Tuesday, police say.

According to reports, Mariam, 6, a resident of Sukhani Colony, went to a nearby shop to buy some items.

The shopkeeper, Allah Bux, took the girl inside the shop and made a rape attempt. However, she was rescued by some nearby people after hearing her screams.

The man was caught and handed over to police.

Police say they have lodged an FIR against the accused and started interrogation. SAMAA
