ISLAMABAD: Ministers of key ally party of the regime, Pakistan Muslim League-Quide (PML-Q), have threatened to resign from ministries, if power load shedding will not be curbed soon, SAMAA reported on Monday.

The power crisis has mounted up to an alarming level across the country and it is adding in difficulties for the government as now key ally parties have also started protest sternly over long and unending power cuts along with the common suffering people.

An important meeting of the PML-Q was held in Lahore this day. Party chief Chauhdry Shujaat and Depurty Prime Minister Parvez Ilahi chaired the meeting.

The PML-Q ministers were in very aggressive mood and they piled complaints against the ruling ally Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) before the party leaders in the meeting.

According to sources, the ministers complaint to the party leadership that the PPP ministers have grabbed all departments and the PML-Q ministers do not get due respect.

“We are ministers of name tag only and no funds are being issued to us as well.” The PML-Q ministers added, saying emergency arrangements should be made for eliminating power crisis otherwise they will resign from their posts.

Chuahdry Shujat and Parvez Ilahi assured the party ministers that their issues will be solved on priority basis and they will convey their reservations, over power load shedding, to the PPP leadership. SAMAA
