NAB forms committee to prevent corruption in Hajj

ISLAMABAD: Admiral (retd.) Fasih Bokhari, the NAB chief, today set up a committee to prevent corruption in Hajj operation.

According to a NAB statement, the NAB chief has formed a committee in order to avert the possible corruption in the Hajj operations.

The committee will examine possible reasons for corruption in Hajj operation.

A NAB spokesman said DG NAB will be the head of the committee. It will also have representatives from ministries of religious affairs, foreign affairs and finance affairs, PIA and Saudi Airline.

The committee has been formed in the wake of complaints made by public about Hajj arrangements.

It will meet on July 31 in Islamabad. SAMAA
