GUJRANWALA: A woman was arrested along with her son on charges of murdering her husband in Gujranwala on Wednesday.

Asad, Assistant Director Planning and Development, was found dead inside his residence in Gujranwala.

Rizwana Kosar and her 14-year-old son Muneeb were arrested in connection with the murder.

Rizwana said Muneeb murdered his father while the son accused his mother of being involved in the murder.

Muneeb said that his mother murdered his father, but asked him to take the blame.

According to the police, Asad had divorced Riawana Kosar. Last night she came to see her children at Asad’s residence in Hamilton Town. He was found dead the next morning. SAMAA
