Pak-India cricket series likely in England

Staff Report

LAHORE: The much awaited Pakistan India Cricket series is likely to be played in England, SAMAA learnt from sources.

According to the Indian newspapers, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has rejected chances of the venue of the series in India and UAE due to security reasons.

Now the series is likely to be played in England, the sources said.

In this regard, both PCB and BCCI chairmen will negotiate soon.

The BCCI said that the series can be disturbed in India due to the country’s fundamentalists while match fixers can also disturb it in UAE. SAMAA
