Oil, CNG prices go up

ISLAMABAD: The government has announced a fresh raise in prices of oil and compressed natural gas (CNG) today (Sunday).

According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the petrol price has gone up by Rs1.41/litre, High Octane by Rs5.64/litre and kerosene oil by Rs1.94/litre.

Under the notification, the petrol will be available at Rs85.90/litre, High Octane at Rs112.52/litre and kerosene oil at Rs88.19/litre for the next 15 days.

The price of light diesel has also been increased by Rs1/62 per litre. However, the price of High Speed Diesel has been left unchanged.

In addition, the CNG price has also surged by Rs1.29 per kilogram. SAMAA
