ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Sunday left for a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia during which he will hold meeting with Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
Talking to mediamen at Chaklala airbase, the Prime Minister said matters of mutual interest will come under discussion during his meeting with Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
The meeting will take place on Monday in Jeddah.
Raja Pervez will perform Umra on Sunday and will offer Salam at Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) and Nawafil at the Masjid-e-Nabvi in Madina.
The Prime Minister will also meet Pakistani community living in Saudi Arabia.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khurshid Shah is accompanying the Prime Minister. Raja said Saudi Arabia has close brotherly ties with Pakistan and it gives importance to Pakistan’s government and its people. -- AGENCIES
