Tribal people will not allow thrusting of Islamabad-world decisions: Fazal

Staff Report

PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has said today that the tribal people will not allow thrusting of decisions, taken on Islamabad and world level, on them and whatever decision will be taken, in this regard, by the tribes we will support them, SAMAA reported on Sunday.

Maulana Fazal said while addressing to Tribal Jirga (tribal council) at Nishtar Hall in Peshawar that during last four years the government undermined all joint decisions of All Parties Conference, Parliamentary Committee and the Parliament, which proves that the regime does not believe in the Parliament and democracy but slavery only.

“Many brutal acts including operations, missile attacks and expulsion had been taken against the tribal people while the tribes rendered sacrifices for the country; streets and paths of FATA turned red with blood but their destiny’s decisions are being taken by the rulers in Islamabad,” he added.

The JUI-F chief also pointed out during his address that the tribal people reserve the right of choice for keeping a separate identity of the tribes or opt for merger with the province. SAMAA
