QUETTA: Despite the presence of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in Quetta, four people were killed in separate incidents of firing in the city on Friday, police say.
According to reports, unknown gunmen shot and killed a person on Sariab Road. The victim, identified as Alam, belonged to Dera Murad Jamali.
The second attack took place in Bank Colony when gunmen riding a bike ambushed a barber shop. As a result, owner of the barber shop, Muhammad Tahir, died on the spot.
In another incident, a drink seller was gunned down near Chakki Shehwani locality. The deceased, identified as Badal, was from Sindh province of Pakistan.
In the last incident, two men, Haji Wazir Khan and Haji Shahab Khan, came under gun attack near Bypass. They were taken to a BMC Hospital, where Haji Wazir Khan expired. SAMAA
