Six more killed in latest incidents of firing, violence in Karachi

KARACHI: At least six more persons including a father and his son have been killed in latest incidents of firing and violence while rangers have arrested two important accused of gang war in Karachi today, SAMAA reported on Tuesday.

A youth’s tortured dead body was recovered near Darvesh Hotel on Mauripur Road in the limit of Kalri Police Station. He was shot dead after kidnap and brutal torture.

Another dead body was found from Umar Bagh Canal in Malir area. The dead body was identified as 25-year old Zohaib who was missing from yesterday. The dead body was moved to Jinnah Hospital.

A father and his son, Sher Bahadur and Sher Ali respectively, were shot dead by a person namely Khanoo over a personal dispute. Another boy, Hazrat Ali, of same family sustained bullet injuries in the firing.

A 25-year old fruit vendor, Anwar, was killed amid firing by some unknown culprits in Landhi area while one more person was killed and other sustained injuries when some unidentified attackers opened fire on a shop in Liaqat Square, Malir.

At the other site, the rangers arrested two important accused of gang war and seized large quantity of arms during a targeted search operation in Nayabad area of Lyari. SAMAA
