TURBAT: At least 18 people were killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on a bus in District Kech of restive Balochistan province late Friday night.

According to government’s official sources, four armed assailants, riding two motorcycles, attacked the bus, killing at least 18 people on the spot. Two others sustained severe injuries and were being shifted to Civil Hospital, sources added.

Attackers successfully fled away from the site.

The bus was heading to Iran when it came under gun attack which happened in Dasht area of Kech District.

In a statement, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the terror attack. SAMAA
