LAHORE: Patients still suffer as Young Doctors Association’s (YDA) strike continues in Punjab on consecutive 18th day on Thursday.
Now the doctors are protesting against arrest of their four fellows in murder case of a child. It is to be mentioned here that a child lost his life as the doctors were unavailable due to strike.
The Punjab government took stern action against the protesting doctors and arrested some of them. The government also sent army and senior doctors in the hospitals to treat the patients.
Though the detained doctors were set free after talks with the senior doctors but they are still not coming on duty.
In the fight between the government and the doctors only poor patients keep on suffering. SAMAA
