ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) has become the member of Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC).

The members of AACC in its meeting of May 2012 held in Seoul, Republic of Korea have unanimously accepted the membership of Supreme Court of Pakistan, said a news release issued here on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by delegations of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea, the Federal Court of Malaysia, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan. -- AGENCIES
