1257 people killed in Karachi in last 6 months: HRCP

KARACHI: At least 1257 people were killed in different acts of violence during last six months in the city, SAMAA reported Wednesday.

According to the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) survey, 66 people committed suicide during the period. Out of those 66, 40 were male, 19 women and seven children.

As many as 80 women were killed in different cases.

From January 2012, 64 children have been also killed. SAMAA
