DCC okays NATO supply reopening

Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: The Defense Committee of Cabinet (DCC) has approved the reopening of NATO supply routes, Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said late Thursday night.

Kaira said DCC has reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue not to charge any transit fee in the larger interest of peace and security in Afghanistan and the region.

He said US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has apologized for the Salala attack that left 24 Pakistani soldiers killed in November last year. SAMAA
