Staff Report
LAHORE: Young doctors Tuesday put forward their conditions to call off the ongoing strike which today entered its 16th day.
It should be mentioned here that the sustained strike has killed at least 11 people; the worst hit is Faisalabad’s Allied Hospital.
The strike call was given by Young Doctors Association (YDA) with demands to the Punjab government to fulfill their requirements involving the service restructuring.
The young doctors stipulated they will restore the emergency services if the government releases the arrested doctors and eliminate the unjustified cases filed against them.
Press Secretary Punjab said indoor services and outdoor patient departments (OPDs) will be restored after the negotiations with the government. SAMAA
