KARACHI: The CNG filling stations have once again been shut down across the province for the next 24 hours to re-open at 9AM tomorrow (Sunday) under a weekly schedule, SAMAA reports Saturday.

According to The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), the CNG stations will remain closed from 9am on Saturday to 9am on Sunday under gas load management schedule.

To ensure the thorough implementation of the gas suspension, the company’s vigilance teams will inspect the closure is maintained and the CNG stations found violating the gas cut schedule, will be punished with closure for another 24 hours.

According to the SSGC officials, the company has not thus far received any notification of the federal government regarding its decision for two-day closure of the CNG stations, adding the days will be specified in consultation with the stakeholders if such instructions were received. SAMAA
