PTI chief Imran Khan meets JI head Munawar Hassan

Staff Report

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrike-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan called on the head of Jamat-e-Islami, Munawar Hassan in Mansoora today, SAMAA reported on Thursday.

Imran Khan said during the meeting that all democratic forces should get together to save the democracy in the country while Munawar Hassan said on the occasion that clear and transparent electoral lists are the most important need of the hour.

The corrupt mafia intends to destroy the Supreme Court to save its corruption while Raja Rental has been made prime minister of the country to secure President Zardari’s corruption, added the PTI chief, saying his party cannot be an ally of parties sitting in the assemblies.

Munawar Hassan added that the Jamat-e-Islami and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf already have similar views over many issues.

After today’s meeting, it is more clearly likely that the PTI and JI will launch a joint protest against the current regime. SAMAA
