PML-N will not support constitutional amendment over dual nationality: Ch. Nisar

Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ch. Nisar Ali Khan has said today that his party will neither allow mockery of the judiciary’s verdicts and nor would support any amendment over dual nationality in the Parliament, SAMAA reported on Thursday.

The opposition leader in the National Assembly said in a statement this day the incapable regime must change its mindset of playing with honor of the Supreme Court as the opposition will not allow anyone to play with its reputation.

“We will not be a part of any constitutional amendment, over dual nationality, to undermine verdicts of the Supreme Court and any decision of limiting its powers will be opposed with full force,” Ch. Nisar added, saying the current regime does not have required two-third majority in the house to make any constitutional amendment. SAMAA
