ISLAMABAD: An army court on Tuesday concluded court-martial of Brigadier Ali who was charged with instigating mutiny against the civilian government and attack on GHQ, SAMAA reports.
Sources said the army officer, who was arrested last year allegedly for his links with banned militant groups and plotting a coup, faces death sentence if all the allegations against him were proved.
“The decision would be announced after approval of the Chief of Army Staff, but it may take four to 15 weeks,” they said. -- SAMAA
