KARACHI: Two policemen were killed in a drive-by attack in Karachi on Sunday night, SAMAA reports.
Officials said two gunmen riding a motorbike opened fire on a police mobile van during snap checking, killing two policemen near Nagan Chowrangi. He said that the incident happened while the policemen were on a routine patrol in the area.
A police constable and a Sub Inspectors were victims of the drive-by shooting.
Meanwhile, a man was injured in a firing incident at Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 13.
Earlier today, five people fall prey to the ongoing violence in the metropolis, officials said, adding that six people were also injured.
Police found four sack-packed dead bodies from Mangho Pir, Dhobi Ghaat and Malir Saud Abad areas, with their legs and hands tied with ropes. -- SAMAA
