LONDON: MQM chief Altaf Hussain today called for an end to conspiracies against the democracy.
Addressing a public meeting here on Sunday, Hussain said Pashtun and Urdu-speaking people are made to clash in Karachi under a plan, urging both the ethnic communities to defend each other.
Thousands of people, including Pashtun, Hazarawals and Hindku, attended the meeting.
In his telephonic address from London, Hussain said Pakistan’s sovereignty and stability lie in continuity of democracy. He said conspiracies have begun against the new prime minister.
He demanded that facilities should be provided to Pashtun areas on priority. SAMAA
