LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Friday summoned reply from Principal Secretary of President Asif Ali Zardari to account for his (Zardari’s) two offices.

The LHC Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial, issuing the summon to Zardari’s Principal Secretary to give explanation over the dual offices, remarked that President Zardari is head of the state; hence, the court cannot issue notice directly to him.

However, the Chief Justice of province’s top court said defying the court orders, is tantamount to contempt of court. SAMAA
