PM election: PPP formally names Raja Perviaz for top post

Staff Report
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Khurshid Shah said Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has been nominated for the post of premiership after elaborate brainstorming sessions.

Addressing a joint press conference flanked by coalition partners, the PPP leader said the ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had consultations with its coalition partners over the political turmoil created by the ruling of the Supreme Court (SC) regarding the contempt conviction of former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.

After prolonged deliberations over the name of next prime minister of Pakistan, name of Raja Pervaiz Ashraf was finalized, Khursheed Shah said.

He said however, the government, avoiding the clash path, acceded to the verdict for the sake of supremacy of the parliament and perpetuity of democracy in the country. SAMAA

This supreme post needs such a person who should be a role model of "Sadiq & Ameen", believer of "Rule of Law", Transparent in all aspects but this is unfortunate for the country and countrymen to nominate a person like Raja Pervaiz, very famous as Raja Rental..!!

In fact this was the 100% expectations from a president named Asif Zardari, very famous as Mr. 10%..!! This is the main difference in between loyal and disloyal of the motherland. 18 crore people are now looking towards the honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan now..!!!!

Worst choice for the supreme post. Advance congratz to MR. Raja Rental for his future disqualification. Free and fair election is desperate need of country.
