ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is currently meeting with the party chief Mian Nawaz Sharif in the chair to mull the political scenario emerged after the disqualification of Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.

It should be mentioned here that a three-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) unseated him (Gilani) not only from his office of premiership but also from the membership of the Parliament with effect from April 26.

Various top-notch party leaders including Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Raja Zafarul Haq and Mushahidullah are in the meeting being held at Punjab House.

The meeting has an agenda to discuss power and political crises and law and order situation of Punjab.

Sources said Mian Shahbaz Sharif may also attend the moot, which is also deliberating to demand government for premature elections.

The PML-N leadership is expected to take members into confidence regarding future political alliances and electoral strategy within and outside parliament. SAMAA
