ISLAMABAD: Three-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) will continue hearing the cases regarding missing persons and law and order in Balochistan, SAMAA reports Wednesday.
The apex court has summoned Inspector General of the FC, Inspector General of Balochistan Police and provincial chief secretary, federal defence and interior secretaries to appear before the bench today.
During previous hearing, Balochistan’s Advocate General Amanullah Kinrani apprised the apex court that at least nine missing persons were recovered during last two months.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry queried, ‘What about those spy agencies from whose custody, these missing persons were recovered?’
The CJ Chaudhry asserted the cases of 138 missing persons will be heard one by one and corresponding orders will be issued.
Balochistan Advocate General told the court that no special headway could be achieved thus far in this regard. SAMAA
