SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited South Waziristan and inspected ongoing work of different local development projects today, SAMAA reported on Monday.

The army chief was welcomed warmly by the local residents and tribal elders on his arrival at Chagmalai, South Waziristan this day.

General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani interacted with Tribal elders after the inauguration of Cadet College Spinkai Raghzai (CCS) at Chagmalai, South Waziristan.

Army chief exchanged views with the Tribal elders over the local development works and public welfare projects. He assured them of full support from the armed forces for local residents in different development tasks to uplift their living standard.

Later on, Gen. Kayani also inspected ongoing work of different public development and prosperity projects in South Waziristan. SAMAA
