KOHAT: At least nine people, including five police personnel, were killed and many other injured as bomb blast on Saturday, SAMAA reports.

Police said it was a remote-controlled blast which hit vehicle of patrolling police party near Chungi 7 area of the Kohat town late on Saturday.

Medics said some nine people have so far lost their lives, including five policemen and four civilians, with more than a dozen people injured.

Officials say the death toll may rise. – SAMAA
