11 more die in Karachi

KARACHI: Eleven people were killed in separate incidents of violence in different parts of Karachi on Friday.

One person died and four others suffered injuries when gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on them near Civic Center.

Five men were reportedly gunned down in Ramswami, Garden, Orangi Town, and Jehangir Road.

Even law enforcers were not spared by the miscreants. Head constable Abdul Qayyum was shot dead near Rehri Chowk in Pathan Colony.

Another person was shot and killed in Korangi. A dead body was found from Dhobi Gath in Lyari.

Syed Abbas, who was injured after a gun attack on Thursday, passed away at a hospital today.

Meanwhile, Specialized Investigation Unit of the police has claimed to have apprehended five suspected terrorists. SAMAA
