Lawyers rally to express solidarity with judiciary

ISLAMABAD: Lawyers across the country observed a strike to show solidarity with judiciary on Friday.

The lawyers boycotted courts and took out rallies in different cities.

In Karachi, lawyers observed complete strike in Sindh High Court (SHC), City Court, Malir Districts and Session Court and lower courts. No cases could be heard due to the boycott.

The lawyers said that judiciary’s scandalization would not be tolerated at all.

In Punjab, lawyers of Lahore and other cities stayed away from courts on the appeal of Punjab Bar Council.

Lawyers said that they would not any conspiracy succeed against the judiciary.

Lawyers in Rawalpindi and Islamabad also observed the strike and did not appear in courts. SAMAA
