Speaker ruling case: CJ, Aitzaz exchange pleasantries

Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and Prime Minister Gilani’s counsel Aitzaz Ahsan on Friday exchanged pleasantries during the hearing of cases challenging Speaker’s ruling.

While giving arguments in the case, Ashcan said to Chief Justice, “Sir, please agree to my point sometime.”

Chief Justice responded, “We have always agreed with you.”

Ahsan complained to Chief Justice that he had stopped accepting his arguments.

On this the chief justice said that if he did so, there would be a perspective. SAMAA
