ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has urged the Britain today to strengthen its ties, especially in economic field, with Pakistan, SAMAA reported on Wednesday.
British Foreign Minister William Hague called on Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad this day and exchanged views in detail over mutual interest and issues of the region.
Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif was also present in the meeting. Shahbaz Sharif discussed those negative impacts which have been caused by the power crisis in the country. He urged the British Government to play an active role in enhancement of power sector’s investment here.
The British Foreign Minister assured Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif that his government will render all possible cooperation to Pakistan. SAMAA
