KARACHI: The metropolis’ police and the Rangers conducted raids in numerous areas and arrested a bhatta (extortion) man and a target killer, SAMAA reports Wednesday.

Also, firearms were recovered from their possession.

According to police sources, Rangers personnel conducted a raid on a tip-off in Mauripur and arrested bhatta man Ashraf alias Ashok hailing from outlawed People’s Aman Committee (PAC).

According to spokesman of the Rangers, the arrested man is a close aide of the most wanted criminal Rashid alias Rekha.

Meantime, Pirabad police seized weapons after arresting Gul Khan wanted in several target killing crimes. SAMAA
