ISLAMABAD: Lawyers across the country observed a strike against Malik Riaz’s remarks against Chief Justice Ifikhar Chaudhry and expressed solidarity with him, SAMAA reported Wednesday.

The strike was observed in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan and other cities.

The lawyers said that it was as they were in Musharraf era.

They said that they are with CJP and would not allow anyone to harm or defame him. SAMAA
