WASHINGTON: The United States said that the restoration of NATO supply issue would be resolved soon between Pakistan and US.
The relationship between the two countries will be better after the matter is resolved, it said.
The US also said that it wanted tension free relationship with Pakistan.
“The team that negotiated directly with Pakistan has mostly left Pakistan. It’s important to note though that we do continue dialogue through ODRP (Office of Defence Representative) in Islamabad. So it is not as if we have completely cut off discussions altogether,” Press Secretary at the Department of Defence George Little said.
Pentagon Spokesman Capt John Kirby added the teams have themselves taken it as far as they can right and now it is up to Pakistan to make decisions.
‘Pakistan should take the bitter-tasted tablet, it will be effective’, it added. SAMAA
