Water crisis persists in parts of Karachi

Staff Report

KARACHI: City's several areas are facing acute shortage of water, compelling residents to purchase it, SAMAA reported Tuesday.

Residents of Jamshed Road, Hyderabad Colony and other areas complained that they had no water for last 20 days while concerned authorities did not respond to their complaints.

The residents of the areas said that the water board and tanker mafia have created this drama and they don’t bother about people’s sufferings.

They also said that there is no one to receive their complaints if they go to board office. SAMAA
