KARACHI: Fresh violence erupted in Karachi’s PIB colony after a political worker was gunned down there Saturday night, claiming two more lives, SAMAA reports.
Sohail, 30, was gunned down by unknown armed men in Karachi’s PIB colony. He was associated with a political party and fall prey to the ongoing targeted-assaults, police said.
Police said three vehicles were torched in the area as a reaction to the murder.
In the subsequent violence, police said two other persons were killed in firing incidents at Golimar area and Maripur road early Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, two men were also injured in a drive-by attack at city’s Orangi town locality. -- SAMAA
