ISLAMABAD: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Friday arrested former Director General Health Dr. Asad Hafeez in ephedrine quota case.

According to sources, the ANF sources had summoned Asad Hafeez at the regional headquarters to record his statement; however, he could not satisfy the investigation officer during the interrogation. On this, he was arrested.

It should be mentioned here that Asad Hafeez was called for interrogation in the light of statements by PM Gilani’s Principal Secretary Khushnood Lashari and other officers. SAMAA
