Rehman Malik, other PPP parliamentarians call on PM Gilani

ISLAMABAD: Interior Advisor Rehman Malik, Chairman PAC Nadim Afzal Chan and many other PPP parliamentarians called on Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani today, SAMAA reported on Thursday.

The Prime Minister, Rehman Malik and other PPP parliamentarians declared in the meeting that the PML-N attitude inside the Parliament is against the democracy.

Rehman Malik briefed the PM over prevailing law and order condition in the country especially in Balochistan. He also briefed about the implementation status of the Start of Balochistan Rights package on the occasion.

Prime Minister Gilani appreciated efforts of Interior Minister rendered for restoration of peace in Gilgit Baltistan.

Chairman APC Nadim Afzal Chan and PPP’s MNA Jamshed Dasti appreciated party leadership’s decision that their members will not adopt same attitude like the PML-N during Punjab Assembly budget session.

They added that the PML- N is undermining supremacy of the Parliament and democratic norms.

The PPP Lahore division’s parliamentarians thanked the Prime Minister for including their constituencies’ development works in the PSDP. SAMAA
