ISLAMABAD: Rain coupled with thunderstorm and gusty winds are likely in parts of the country during next 24 hours, slightly helping minimize the temperature and providing a bit relief to people, SAMAA reports.

The Metrological Department said on Thursday forecast rains in Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, North-East Balochistan, upper Sindh, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

Strong winds and moderate rains were recorded in parts of Punjab, Malakand Division, Hazara, Qallat, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Khuzdar, Zoab and Azad Kashmir cities, with maximum temperature recorded 45C in Turbat, Balochistan on Wednesday. -- SAMAA
