Railways cannot be improved without spending money: Bilour

KARACHI: Awami National Party's leader and Federal Minister for Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour said on Tuesday that institutions cannot be improved without spending money over them.

While talking with media here at Karachi Cantonment Station Loco shed visit, the minister said that Army and Rangers occupy most of the land of the country.

While commenting over the Supreme Court’s verdict on Rehman Malik’s dual citizenship, he said that not a single member of ANP has dual citizenship.

‘I respect the court’s verdict’, he said.

He expressed helplessness over Railway lands’ occupation.

Bilour said that if the PR got 400 engines, then the institute will be improved highly.

Though the minister accepted demands of the protesting railways employees, the protesters said that they will continue protests until a formal notification is issued from the ministry for aaproval of their demands. SAMAA
