Karachi unrest: MQM stages walk out from Senate

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Monday walked out of the Senate’s Session against the latest spate of violence in Karachi.

Deputy Chairman Sabir Baloch presided over the Senate’s session.

MQM leader Tahir Mashhadi urged the government to take concrete measures for restoration of law and order.

Opening the debate, Opposition Leader Ishaq Dar said load shedding is the biggest hurdle in the country’s progress. SAMAA
