ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday described the federal budget 2012-13 and PPP-PML (N) brawl as a drama.
Addressing a post-budget press conference here, Khan said the current government has burdened the country with so much foreign loans that 62 percent of the total national income is being paid in the form of interest.
“If the situation remains as it, all the national income will be spent on paying interest,” he remarked.
The PTI chairman said poor people were bearing the brunt of high inflation and corruption.
The country, he said, needed a government which could tax the rich and powerful people.
To a question, Khan said the PML-N and the PPP are staging a drama of fighting each other to build up their votes.
He reiterated that his party would change the current system after coming into power. SAMAA
