QUETTA: At least six persons including two policemen have been shot dead and many hurt in Quetta today, SAMAA reported on Sunday.

According to initial reports, some unidentified motor-bike riding armed attackers opened indiscriminate firing at a shop on Sarki Road of Quetta this afternoon.

Six persons including two police men were killed in terrorists’ indiscriminate firing while many sustained bullet injuries.

The armed attack was aimed at some laborers working outside the shop but two policemen, patrolling on motor-bike in the area, also caught in shoot out when they tried to tackle the attackers.

The police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and moved the dead bodies and injured to hospital.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is arriving in Quetta this evening on two-day tour to meet many prominent people to mull over maintaining law and order and eliminating of terrorism in the province.

This lethal shooting incident can be taken as a message from the law breakers and terrorists for the authorities, as it has taken place on the same day when Prime Minister is coming here on a special tour for curbing terrorism menace from the province. SAMAA
