Staff Report

HAMBANTOTA: Sri Lanka outclassed Pakistan in the opening Twenty20 international in Hambantota on Friday beating them by 37 runs.

From Pakistan, Ahmed Shahzad made 36 runs.

Pakistan only made 95 runs which is the lowest ever of the team in T20 matches.

Earlier, Sri Lnka scored 132-7 after electing to bat against Pakistan in.

Thisara Perera top-scored for Sri Lanka with a 16-ball 32 not out, while paceman Sohail Tanvir bagged three wickets for Pakistan.

Sri Lanka lead the series by 1-0. SAMAA
